I am leaning towards a Indian Ringneck but I have not ruled out getting an eclectus. I do not want to wait for the last minute to order a cage and go through the same thing as I did with gollum.
Anyhow, size and bar spacing... Would it be the same for either bird? Or do I really need to decide on which one before ordering the cage?

You read my mind. I was thinking the same thing.
I was looking at the exact same cage. I should have asked if that cage is too big for a IRN, spacing is 1in. Because I thought I could just get a cage big enough for a eclectus (it would be Solomon) and if I went with the IRN, it would just have a bigger cage... But then there is the bar spacing difference

I was choosing between an IRN & Grey, and had different cages lined up for them.
My IRN came to me in a 1" bar spaced cage and was sticking his head out. It didn't feel to safe!

OH NO, I wouldnt either.
The lazy part of me was wondering if I could keep the 1in bar space cage for the IRN, so I dont have to put that thing back in the box! UGH! But its not worth the risk.
