Gloria, BFA, adopted on Jan. 9, 2016 when she was 30 years old
. Her mom went to a nursing home.
Also have 2 cats (Rangerand Luna) and a 24 year old aquatic turtle, named Elvis.
I've decided that it would be better to get Gloria a play stand instead of a cage with one on top (for the time being anyway) as she likes to be close and I can move a play stand to where I am. She won't get on my hand so a rolling stand may do the trick. I need a fairly tall one that the cats can't reach. Don't want a hanging one. Has anyone ever seen a tall one--where the base is at least 4 feet high or so?:green:

My playstands are seven feet tall, but I built them myself...

Do you have a picture? I'm certainly willing to do that. I've done a fair amount of wood working. I was thinking I could start with some sort of tall plant or candle stand as a base. I bought a lovely manzanita wood perch for the top of her cage that I could use as part of it.

Thanks! The coffee table one is more along the lines of what I'm looking for. I just need to make sure the table part is high enough which shouldn't be any problem. I can always use stair rail posts for legs.

That's the thing about DIY projects, you can do "true custom" designed to exactly fit your space and your needs.
