I just got a box full of plastic chain and went to town decorating Screech's outside hanging gyms. She is wild with excitement! So much fun tinkering with their play areas, right? They really seem to love it.

We have a chain going from Salty cage to his hanging boing, across the living room, and he uses it like his own personal birdie walkway.
We have all sorts of toys hanging from the chain too, so he stops and plays with each on his saunter over. Keeps him off the floor, and he loves it. I want to add a length to go from his boing to the picture window in the front of the house, but Geri is not so keen. Says I'm slowly redecorating the house, for the bird. She's right, shhhh.

LOL, I feel for Geri. Im one of those people who doesnt like clutter or appliances out on countertops....the only exception is the coffee maker because it gets used several times a day. Not even paper towels get to live on the counter. It's been a hard transition mentally to have an ugly cage in the room, and Im cringing at the thought of all the colors from the toys once it gets kitted out. But yeah, Im doing my darnedest to figure out how to make it not seem like the house has gone to the bird---but already planning chain walkways, etc. I have been assimilated...we are the bird.
