I am looking for a well made parrot cage (for a Senegal) that is approx. the following dimensions - Height 180cm, Width 80cm, Depth 45cm. It is the Depth measurement that is frustrating my search as the majority of cages with that height are seemingly 55+cm deep. I am wondering whether I need to have something made. If anyone knows a type of cage that would meet my needs (I'm in the UK), then please do let me know.

I'm converting cm to inches which I'm more familiar with, but by those dimensions it sounds almost like a double macaw cage. Almost like a mini aviary?

If a cage you have in mind is more of an aviary style, then you might want to google indoor aviaries or small portable aviary.

If you're looking for a "cage" then whatever you do, do NOT get a flimsy flight cage. Many people get 'thin barred' flight cages, and while inexpensive, they meant for birds with small beaks (finches, budgies, cockatiels, GCC). If you happen to have a Senegal who likes to bite bars, they can damage a flight cage with their strong beaks.

May I ask why you would prefer a smaller depth measurement?
My birds seem to like wider and deeper, rather than taller, as most don't use the bottom part of their cage.

Hi
First cage I bought was cheaply made, Makena blew through that one in a few month. Then I found Animal Environments this cage will last Makena a Lifetime.
Best cage to buy is from Animal Environments. I purchased a Stainless Steel Luxor for my Makena. Special features such as putting 4 feeders on one side, a sleeping bed. Carmen was so knowledgeable and accommodating to Makenas needs. I love it and Makena loves it to. Absolutely indestructible, well built, attention to detail, easy to clean
