The cage I have for my senegal is quite large, I haven't actually measured it but it stands about 62" tall, 42" wide and 36" deep (really just guessing here). I am wondering what I could do with the bottom 50% of the cage to make it interesting as all of his toys are hanging from the top and anything below this gets ignored. I have shelves I can put in where I was going to have a bath with a shelf above to act as a poop shield but other than that I don't really know what to do with the space. I was thinking of having another shelf or two where he can have messy toys, for example I wondered about growing some cress and letting him graze on it and probably end up chucking dirt everywhere. Maybe not the best thing to teach if I ever want houseplants. I just want him to have entertaining things to do while I am at work, he does love chewing his current toys and playing with bells but if he had some extra stimulation that encouraged him to move around but also things he will only need occasionally would be great.
