Cage color?

I'm about to order a new powder coated cage, maybe sandstone color or white or grey.
Is white hard to see the parrot or hard to clean.

Personally, I think it depends on what you use when cleaning your cage and how frequently! How is it cleaning your current cage?
"Is white hard to see the parrot" this part of your question confused me

Thanks for your reply,
I had a black silver cage last and the white urine shows a lot more and dust.
I thought I read once never get a white cage because visually it it hide the parrot more. Maybe I misread that?

I have two light gray and one white. Love them all. I’m not a fan of dark cages because I prefer the cages to go with my decor a bit. Cleaning isn’t an issue. I use a handheld steam cleaner once a week and it cleans right up. I personally think light cages look cleaner in general especially if you happen to have dusty birds. I also use a plain paper as opposed to newspaper on the trays because I feel like it looks cleaner.

Levi has two Sandstone cages & one white. I love them all, but the white one really stands out. However, so does the dirt ... Ha.

If you have the time to clean more frequently get the white ... it really is nice. :smile049:

My greenwing was in a white kings double macaw cage for many years... Big red bird was kinda hard to miss in ANY color cage. Especially a bird who was attention oriented and determined to "not be missed."

The only thing about that cage that made it hard to clean was that it was too tall for the doorway of the house I was living in, so I couldn't just wheel it outside and pressure wash it.
