Anybody have an outdoor aviary ? My concern is that a powder coated one will rust and I donā€™t have $8,000 . I came across the expandable cages and looks like with 2 kits would suit nicely as outdoor aviary? Anybody have this or any experience with these? I would be getting one that would go in the garden area with no bottom looks sturdy maybe . If any one has another one that has lasted long let me know please

Could you possibly post a link to exactly what you are talking about? I'm not sure I'm clear about what you mean by an "expandable habitat" or "kit"...

I know that stainless-steel cages are very expensive, especially to only use as an occasional outdoors cage, but there are quite a few people who use regular, powder-coated or wrought-iron cages outside. It's just a matter of maintaining it...Also, sometimes you can get lucky and find a nice stainless-steel cage pre-owned on Craigslist and such...But I'd like to see what it is that you're talking about, as it sound interesting...

Thank you for responding I did a search of previous discussions on this and decided on the centurion 9x 5 ish one is the one we like , $8000 is a lot for us . We still have the ss cage coming , and we havenā€™t even been charged for the shipping and handling yet .Iā€™m gonna encourage flight safely of course , she seems to really want to fly now that she is stronger, there is such a change in her we got about 4 months of outdoor , then enclose the porch and have big sliding windows there . The expandable habitat was 5000 and much smaller. It is expandable habitats .com
