Orange Winged Amazon
After fifteen years my Amazon needs a new cage. Being the slob that he is, he is always wiping food off his beak onto the bars. His current cage takes about two minutes to take apart and carry outside to hose off. All four sides and the top have pegs on the bottom of each panel that just drop into a slot on the base and the top holds the sides in place. No tools, just lift the top off then lift each side panel separately. Who makes a cage like this?

Welcome to Parrot Forums!

Sounds like normal Amazon after meal clean-up to me.

I'm not aware of any of the current cage manufacturers that are building cages like that one any longer. Amazon cages today are bolted together.

When you select a cage target a cage that is in the range of a standard door opening, which is someplace between 23 to 25" wide without a seed catcher. Length should be as long as possible. Check your doors first to assure the size of your door openings. Look for cages with a full height front door!

Hope that this helps.
