Hello, I'm getting a baby Meyer's and want the widest cage possible. I found a roomy enclosure (50 x 23) from Natural Inspirations, which I had not heard of before. Does anyone have one of their cages? Are they high quality?

Thanks.

Not heard about this seller.
Understanding that in todays world their is only 2 or 3 cage manufacturers in the world and they are all located in china. When they are building for their own resellers or building for a reseller that has inspection staff onsite, the cages are good products. When they build for non-onsite resellers or only price resellers, problems are fairly common.

Cage Basics:
- Full height cage door - a benefit for the individual that gets to clean it.
- Play top, on a flat top!
- Natural branch perches
- Ability to order additional supply of parts: Extra feeding bowls, wheels, etc. Strongly recommend ordering when buying the cage.
- Removable upper and lower grates and seed catchers for easy of cleaning.

I so prefer flat tops!!! You can add rope perches and so much! Easy to set out dishes. And big bowls fir a bath. Makes cage filled with light better.. To me those play tops are a waste. And usually jack the coast up. I had one and git rid if it.
I like to put sn acrylic sheet across the top. East to remove and clean. Prevents stuff from going into cage.

Thanks - I ended up going with NI: https://naturalinspirationsparrotcages.com/products/small-bird-double

It's a flat top - I agree about the built-in play tops. I've also heard from others that acrylic on top is good - in part to prevent biting of other birds' feet. A dish for baths on topic is also a good idea. I have trained my parakeets to tolerate/somewhat like misting. I hope the Meyer's will give himself baths.

I'm girding myself for having to clean another cage - but my strategy will be to rotate cleaning so I don't do it all the same weekend.

Yes but not as expensive as stainless steel! Hopefully the powder coating will last 8-10 years before I have to replace the cage.
