Puck has been very grumpy the last few days! The only thing he wants to do is go outside! When I have him out all he wants to do is go on the window sill and make birdy noises (which have been getting progressively louder).

The only thing that seems to help is taking him outside! Yesterday my mom took him to her house and he got to sit in his outdoor cage for a few hours, which he liked a lot. He was grumpy today so I took him for a little walk, but he was grumpy a little while later, so I took him to the park for about an hour. He was irritable and didn't want to be picked up for the first portion of it, but I convinced him to step up and after a while he was back to his normal self.

I guess I really DO need to get that bird light ASAP! I was planning on buying relatively soon, but this speeds up the urgency! I've been rather short on money (spent a lot on stuff for him, then overspent one weekend, and now I have very necessary medical bills, ugh). He is in a MUCH better mood when he's had some sun.

I've apparently been pretty sick. I didn't know why I was feeling so awful (tired, depressed, etc), but it got pretty bad so I got some blood work done and I am fighting a nasty viral infection and am hypoglycemic (and something to do with my thyroid). They're being taken care of now (my doctor is excellent, when I go to her), and I think I'll be able to take better care of him (and myself) now. I feel bad because I haven't had the energy to take him out as much the last few weeks.

I am glad my bird doesn't love outside as much as yours. I live in Seattle, so its Pretty cold right now. Any ways, sorry to hear about your situation, but birds are almost like children, if you don't give them attention they get mad even though they don't know what's going on. Good to hear your bird came around :]
Feel better!!!

I have a feeling that if I lived in Seattle he might not want to go out as much! I live in Southern California now so it's sunny a lot.

I actually used to live in Seattle, and am considering moving back for college. :-D
