Thus far, we have been leaving a bowl of dry food (pellets, with % of seed mix) in cage at all times.

We feed treats, and fruits/veggies. etc later each day. Pepe eats from his dry food much of the time during the day, and eagerly takes fruits and veggies later on. Is it ok to let him have access to food all day long? He naps, poops well, sleeps well, plays well and all seems fine, I was just wondering.

I think birds should have food available 24 hours a day. They have a very high metabelism and can't get to the fridge if they are hungry or you are late getting home . I would rather be safe than sorry:)
