Awesome pictures! Do they actually eat the lemons when you give them whole like that? I don't think Pippi would know what to do with one! :)

Adorable pictures!!! I keep my birds off my plants though...lol...I have lots and lots of house plants that I work very hard on, my birds and other critters would not hesitate to destroy them. I was about to kill my dogs when they chewed my peace lily to a stub, it was gigantic at one point....I stopped working on it and it looks sad now days, may have to give it away cause I'm out of room....I have over 50 house plants and growing some baby plants too....

Yes they eat the leaves and are VERY curious about the lemons themselves, but I dont want them to destroy the plant..at least yet!

What happy looking birds! You did grow the lemons just for their amusement, right?

Of course, EVERYTHING in my house is chosen for their amusement. I might as well, because theyre going to use/abuse it anyway lol

Boy, ain't THAT the truth! Moving up to first place this week on the favorite bird toy list in my house is my set of Roland V-Drums in the music room. It's got everything two caiques could want: A metal frame, lots of cords they can clamber up or slide down like little ninjas, drums pads to jump to and from, and cymbal stands to climb up and hang upside down from.

However, I think the two main reasons they like the drum set so much are:

1) it's more expensive than a playstand,

2) they know darn well I'd rather have them play pretty much anywhere else in the house than on the drums...

LOLOL! The only thing that's saving me from being exiled from the neighborhood is that it's an electronic drum kit.

Once Eliza and Henry figure out the on switch and how to hook it up to the speakers, I'll expect the police and a bunch of angry neighbors in no time!

I wouldnt worry about the police. Once the litle darlings figure out the switches, there will be no power to drive the kit anyway

Its the FRIDGE you need to worry about....lol

Ha! Tell me about it! If I'm working in the kitchen, and those two are out...well, let's just say I have less usable counter space than I did in my studio apartment during college!
