Caique attacks and bites when I interfere with him playing with my computer?

My Caique is loving and really playful when he's in the mood.

However, he has a habbit where he stands atop of my laptop screen and bends down, still hanging. If I try to gently remove him or anything, it happens that he bites and screams after me. Is there any way I can prevent this?

He also loves to play with my iPhone, but there's no sign of anger here.

Pixie is the absolute bestest - unless I touch her "toys". Which include my phone/tablet/laptop/keyboard/mouse.

I handle her aggression by
1. Trying to never let her touch said "toys"
2. Removing her the instant I see her touching said "toys"
3. Luring her away with treats if she does grab one of those "toys"

She's never happy to be removed.

Does this aggression include biting?

And my little friend hates it when I close in on him when he's enjoying a snack, but that's a normal reaction in my opinion. :p

Mine does the same, hangs down and looks at the screen. He wants to be part of my activities.

What's your problem?. leave the little guy alone.

You don't take action unless he starts biting at keys or the screen surrounds, then you DISTRACT DISTRACT DISTRACT!

And I assume he is going to bed when darkness falls?. That's the time for you to play with the laptop.

regarding the iPhone, the bird has no idea of its value and will destroy it for fun like it was a paper bag. It's up to you whether you want that.

To avoid all these issues, tire the bird out before you start on the laptop. Games, chases, lots of flying and action. When he settles down to preen, you surf

My BFA seems to love biting my laptop... she does try to attack when I move her away So what I do is I close my laptop screen down, and after i do that i am able to pick her up and i make her fly like crazy. What i mean is that I will have her on my hands and start running around and she will be flapping her wings like crazy when I see her start to pant I stop and put her back and she just chills there. problem solve no more noisy amazon ^_^

Try to distract your bird with a treat such as millet spray. Then while she is distracted by the treat get the bird to step up. I'm not sure that this will work as every bird is different but it works with my bird. I hope this helps. :D

Here goes the "2 year old with pliers" analogy again. What you would do with a human child who insists on doing something you don't want applies here too. Either change your expectations, distract the bird with something they really like (toy, your attentions or food), or don't open the laptop when they are around.

both my birds want my keyboard and mouse. I set up a place next to those that they can hang out at and watch the screen, but neither are allowed to get on, or touch those items. I'm greedy with my toys too! I remove them as soon as they start to close in on them. If they bite they go back to their cage for a 1 to 2 minute time out. Foo will pull off buttons and Zekie poops all over the keys, neither I like. ;)

Kyo does both of those things, PLUS drops her chop all over it. I haven't learned yet though :p
