Love turn to hate

Hey folks,

I have a wbc, Frankie whose a year and a half old. I live with my fiance, and normally Frankie loves us both and in fact would choose her over me. The other day, out of nowhere, he started to attack her when she got home from work. (Was fine in the morning). He was also using very aggressive body language when she was near him.
After letting him cool off the first day, I started using the travel carrier as a time out spot, giving him to her and when he bites she yells at him and i would put him in there for a minute. I have also used the towel method, swaddling him and letting her hold him while I step out of sight. Now, he isnt as aggresive towards her anymore, but he still is very timid and wants nothing to do with her.

My question is, is there anything else I can try? Also, will he come around and be loving towards her again or is this anyones guess. I'm assuming his sex hormones are beginning to kick in which caused this to occur.

Any thoughts??

Thanks!

I will avoid giving much advice lest your bird turn out like mine. :) Sounds like a sexual maturity complication... the timing's about right.
The SEARCH tab above will give you good reading while you're waiting for personal advice.
Good for you for reaching out!

And a Normal Grey Cockatiel named BB who came home with me on 5/20/2016.
I tend to agree with Ms Gail on this one...sexual maturity. BB, my 'tiel is about 1.7 years old,and lately he has been trying to get...ummm..."randy"...with my hand ..and he has been extremely bratty with me (NOT his usual behavior..was always a sweet boy)
He'll run from me,he screams/yells at me if he is on my shoulder and I try to get him on my hand..and he has been extremely nippy!
I think he is starting to "feel his oats"..sounds like your little one is doing the same
