Companion for a Caique

Hello everyone! I am looking into getting a Caique. I have much experience with birds due to the fact I work with birds for a living. One of the species I am just starting to work with though are Caique and I love these little guys. I have worked with them for about 2 months now. Anyways I have a Quaker at my work I bring home with me (Gus) and he loves one of the Caique. I am a bird lover and want other birds. Basically I want birds and I know Caiques are violent towards others. Do any of you have any suggestions??? :green2:

I don't know anything about caique, never seen one IRL. But i saw a lady on youtube who has had caiques for over 10 years, but she has three of them, and have maybe 8-10 other parrots to look after. So it may not be the best video, as you're planning to only have one with a quaker. She made a 2-part video:

Hope you could learn a thing or two about owning caiques, but keep in mind that having only one might make them more chill. I don't know. You could also just give it a try and see if it works out for you. I mean you work at a sanctuary after all, so you can always just return it, if it doesn't work out

From what I have read, caiques are not terribly fond of other species. There are always exceptions to any generalization of a species, but most stuff says they do not get allong with others. They are cute as hell though, and very high energy.
