Here's my new baby caique ( pretending to be a duck)

look it that shovel beak, not like a parrot at all

The white edge is the egg tooth which is used to slice the top of the egg so he can climb out

Adorable, but what kind of resonsible breeder sells a 2 day old parrot chik? What kind of feeding instructions did the breeder give you? Sleep cycle?,

Parrots
Senegal Parrot named "Kane"; Yellow-Sided Green Cheek Conure named "Bowie"; Blue Quaker Parrot named "Lita Ford"; Cockatiel named "Duff"; 8 American/English Budgie Hybrids; Ringneck Dove named "Dylan"
I'm hoping this is just a photo that the breeder sent him, as no breeder wants to hand-feed a 2-day old chick, let alone send one home with a non-breeder...

LOL I asumed (with 11 caiques) is was a self-bred-baby and Irishj9 was just sharing a picture of one of her young ones with us.

They grow quickly. It is quite a transformation when you see them change from tiny, featherless (and adorable) to a feathered and bouncy bird.

Lol, I didn't catch the "11 Caiques", but I'm glad that my assumption was right. With how common it is for people to buy unweaned baby birds anymore, nothing would surprise me. I can see a breeder shipping a 2 day-old baby FedEx Air Cargo to a new bird owner...
