Hello all. We’re 3 weeks in & our baby is doing great. He’s happy, eating, drinking, & pooping normal. He’s a bit pink around his eyes & nares. The breeder said that it’s from certain fresh foods. Have you guys seen this before?

I’m not familiar with Caiques so maybe? Macaws can blush with emotion, and when my baby Ringnecks get too pink its usually dehydration or an infection.

I would call a certified avian vet to ask.

Which foods are supposed to cause this?
