hello does anyone keep to caique together in the same cage.
they have time out and they will go outside in the avairy everyday for a few hours, but i was wondering do they need to have a separate cage so they have a break from one an other.

From the info I have gained from an experienced owner I'd say yes, do have a spare. There are times when they get a bit much and need some time apart. Always better safe than sorry. Also you can split them if over preening starts.

thank you, they do love each other as they were bought as babies together although from a different breeder, one is black head caique and the other green tighed caique.
but sometimes they squabble and i hate it when they do this. i usually get the black headed one out and let her fly around or sit with us and then i let the other one out, that seem to stop them, some time they scream really loud that i have to cover them up for a little while that stops them. but mostly they get on great, they always sleep together in the hammock, its so sweet they lie down on thier side cuddled up. so i would never separate them at night, just maybe when i am at work.
