Umbrella Cockatoo- 15? years old..I think?
how old is your bird?
Sleeping with any bird is dangerous for them, so it's good you stopped that.
Adult birds will see this behavior as sexual, so you don't really want to encourage it unless your bird is extremely young and needs that warmth etc...

what kind of bird do you have? it's not uncommon for young birds to want to "snuggle" with something as that's what they generally do in the nest to keep warm. What temperature is your bird kept in?

Caiques don't fully finish weaning until about 12-14 weeks. They only start weaning about 6-7 weeks. (Start weaning, meaning not fully finished weaning.)

He's a baby, so he's looking for baby things - formula, warmth, comfort, etc.

Do you have access to an experienced person who can help you if your bird need support? Oftentimes, inexperienced owners can miss signs that their baby is sick, especially since babies are so prone to digestive problems when fed improperly.
