Hi! I own a GCC named boba and Iā€™ve been doing pretty good. I love her a lot and thankfully am at a place where I can have a bird (or two) live comfortably. I am planning that if I ever get a chance, I will probably get another bird as the last bird Iā€™ll get for years.

Iā€™m planning on adopting a caique if I ever get the chance. So caique owners of reddit, do you think a caique would be a good fit for me? Iā€™m ok with the screaming (thanks boba!) and Iā€™m also fine with biting, although how bad are their bites?

I am away 9-4 bc of school but Ik that I can spend lots of time with a bird no matter how active. I donā€™t wanna bring in a bird I cant handle. Iā€™ve heard both wonderful and ho

Caique parrots are known for being very jealous of other birds! It would take only an instant for your little one to be maimed! Or killed!

Welcome to the forum.
I've heard the same as Flboy..... That they are best as only birds...
Hopefully a caique owner will weigh in.
