She's really gorgeous, haven't ever seen one like her. Of course I forgot my camera.
Daisy is white with small patches of very light almost silvery grey. No cheek color or anything. Any idea what kind she is? I'll try and get a picture.
Just went over to meet her and trim her nails/clip her wings for them. They have misbehaving dogs and we didn't want to take the chance of her flying nearby.

Could be a white/grey pied, but it's hard to tell without pics. I wonder why you trimmed her wing because of the dogs? I have a very hyper unreliable dog so I keep my Fids fully flighted so they can get away out of the dogs reach. A clipped FID is going to be alot easier target. As I've said many time you just have to do what's best for you, but I would consider leaving her untrimmed if she is goign to be around the dogs alot.

The dogs are contained to one area of the house and the bird isn't allowed there when they are out. Don't want to risk her flying over. Also, with small children handling her regularly, I feel the bird is safer clipped. They might go near a door or window without realizing she could fly away.
They are young and I can't get it through their heads that although she IS a very special friend, she isn't always going to do what you expect her to do. My nephew got a nip on the lip right in front of me. I told him not to put her near his face and he said oh no I trust her completely, she's lived here for a whole week! lol.. She's very sweet and doesn't bite hard but he got a nice little nip for his trouble:)
