"Jax" Red-sided Eclectus ~ "Peaches" Lutino Lovebird ~ "Skid" Peachface Lovebird ~ "Bo" and "Peep" Cockatiel's ~ "Opie" Galah
I picked up two Weiro's today from a friend who needed to lighten her load. She was told they are 2 years old, one male and one female but they both look a lot younger than that to me, and both have bars on tail feathers. I am not really sure on their mutation (i'm haven't really researched it much) if anyone can tell from the picture please share your opinion. Same on the sex too.

Meet "Bo" and "Peep"

I think what they are called depends more where you are from here. I am familiar with weiro but in central qld quarion was more common. They just look young to me but could be females.

Thinking the bars on the tailfeathers would make them both females. Not too sure on exact mutation...perhaps cinniman whiteface.

Yeah I forgot to mention that..... That was a temp cage, the only one that the lady I got them from had that would fit in the car.. They have another temp one now (No Rust) Until my Hubby gets a nice Aviary built for them. Since they are not handraised I thought they would prefer an aviary to a cage. :)

Yes they are very common here.
I have always known them as Cockatiels because I was brought up in Queensland and thats what they are known as there. But here in Western Australia where I now live they are known as Weiro's... So confusing that they have two names. LOL...
