At the moment she's had a nice feed but cries every time I put her back in her box. I have her on my lap at the moment wrapped in a tea towel. Is she lonely???

She's not crying when she's with me she just doesn't want to be put back in her box right now.

Unfortunately my babies cries regardless if they're in or out, they want to be fed constantly....Just candled my eggs tonight and they're fertile, it's a new pair on their 3rd batch after several months of rest. They'll be hatching end of the month....

They're precious at this stage!!! Just wait until fledging time and you'll see how much of a pain they can be....lol

OMG I hope it still loves me once it becomes a fledgling!
I think my dog thinks it's a humanbaby too because he guards the box and will grow if my other dog comes close. It's a chihuahua

It's cute when they fly to you but they nip at you and carrying on wanting to be bed. Then it gets worse when they fly fly fly and you have to either let them fly until they're tired out or you have to go chase after them to feed them, then they take a bite then act not interested in the food and flies off again, lands somewhere and puke out all the food everywhere....lol.....So usually after feeding, they go right back in their cage. Or you just wasted the time you make the food that you just got done feeding them. Some babies don't leave you though, especially the single babies without other fledglings around. Like my Nico, never leaves me, she'll fly around the room and come right back to me. She still does it now after a year and a half later.

Well hopefully mine is the clingy, cuddly type! She's already started giving me little kisses and chewing on my lip.
