Hi everyone! Picked up my new cockatiel cage today! Rocky loves it already and as you can see by the pic he keeps tilting his head like he is very curious :) It has platforms and ladders which is good for my elderly cockatiel as she can rest her feet rather than perching all the time. Very happy with it and the store discounted $100 off the price.

Thanks terry! I'm not sure I didn't get any information with it. It kind of looks like a ferret cage but its designed for birds. Bar spacing is only about 1cm. I needed something big enough for five tiels.

Oh, so it's not all for just her. :D I really like the idea of those platforms and things (except for cleaning). My bigger birds climb more than they fly about. I think they'd like climbing things.

I think that's definitely perfect for 5 tiels! They can for sure have parties and invite all their friends:)

Yes, I really like the idea of the birds being able to climb around in there, since they don't really fly in their cage. I could sit for hours watching them! They spend a lot of time outside of their cage as well, so it's perfect really. Two of the tiels in there are a bonded pair and do everything together (Drummer and Summer, male and female). It will be interesting to see how they go in the mix. I hope Drummer just sticks with Summer and doesn't try to mate with all the girls. So far so good! I have some more photos of the birds inside the cage so will post them aswell when I get a chance :)
