Been a lurker for a while but we need help and can't seem to find knowledgable answers elsewhere. Unfortunately out baby tiel "Toto" was exposed to pesticides this morning. I had taken him outside in a travel cage and places him away from the house, thought it was fairly obvious I was trying to avoid pesticide exposure. (We live in the desert so no worries, it was plenty warm out) Then the idiot bug guy sprayed all around the patio tiles that Toto was on. His travel cage was on top of another cage that was sitting on a 1 1/2 ft wide walkway and the bug guy sprayed all around that walkway, even tho it was away from the house and didn't think to ask me if I wanted to move the bird. Obviously I am not happy. There were a lot of not so nice 3 and 4 letter words coming out of my mouth this morning.
Toto is a symptomatic, chirping, eating, drinking, pooping. What should I be looking for in a reaction and how long does it usually take for a reaction to show?
I have already contact one avian vet and sought out names and numbers of others that provide after hours services, should poor Toto become symptomatic this weekend.
