I put a deposit down on a handfed White Clear Pied. I am so excited! Its been a long time since I have had a handfed one and cant wait to spoil them. Will be out of cage most days, near me. Gotta find a decent small playstand. Best first toys?

Lucky you! My cockatiels love paper bags. They love to shred them, love to play on them, and love to get in them. I also grew some oats for them and they love ripping into the plants and seed heads.

Happy toy hunting! And congratulations!

Looks like a whiteface lutino! (aka albino) I'm not sure if she's pied or not, but definitely a WF Ino bird!

You might try some easy to destroy toys made out of balsa and yucca... and get some toys with beads, leather strips and craft sticks!

Definately Whiteface clear pied. But some people call the clear pieds whiteface lutinos.

Oops my mistake about differences. Though when I look at pic, it doesnt look red. I will have to ask breeder, as I was wanting clear pied.

Maybe it's the difference in our monitors, but the eyes definitely look red to me. Maybe if you could get a clearer photo? Maybe one with more natural lighting?

Yes, she will be sending more photos. But I believe her. She has two clear pieds. Added photo of other one. Shes gonna keep the loudest one of the two, since I am hoping for a boy. But either is fine :)

That one looks to have darker eyes! But now I'm wondering if it's also a whiteface lutino split pied, giving the bird grey eyes instead of brown?

They are gorgeous tiels! Just.... I'm still not convinced they are clear pieds. Sorry!

Perhaps they really are, and they just don't look it to me.

Gorgeous! Favorite toys atleast for my 7 tiels are anything they can shred and they love bells! Since they love shredding I'm actually making them a lot of homemade toys which is also cheaper :) they love beads too!

Congratulations on choosing such a beautiful bird! :)
Now we can't look forward to your avatar changing anymore? Lol:D ....unless of course you get another bird ;)

Interesting chart Monica :). I've never seen one like that COMPLETELY YELLOW one with yellow body, cheeks, and everything! Unusual and beautiful.

I'd agree with MonicaMc, the first pic definitely looks like wf lutio (I should know cause I have one) but the second pic the eyes do look darker. In some light it's actually difficult to (type with said baby trying to eat my wedding ring off my finger) to see the pink in the eyes of my wf lutio, some lights her eyes appear dark and outside they are definitely pink...Beautiful baby tiel you have there, regardless of which it is.

Dang it MonicaMc now I want one with blue eyes!

Congratulations on getting a new cockatiel. I have read an article that cockatiel loves shredded paper. You can use tissues, paper towels or napkins as long as it does not have ink on it. I am planning on getting a new bird but I have not decided yet what breed it would be. I will keep on browsing this site or I will ask anyone here if I need some advice.

The eyes looked quite red to me! Guess you'll know if it's a Clear Whiteface Pied once the baby is within your home.

I have a Lutino split to pied/or whiteface female. She have blue eyes! Unfortunately she is infertile....I wonder if that causes infertility???

The guy I bought Bandit from had a yellow IRN and it had blue eyes. Normally I'm not a fan of yellow birds but it was lovely :)
