I know that Cockatiels, in the wold, pretty much only eat grass seed. So the workers at the bird store nearby, Golden Cockatoo, suggested feeding this seed mix, fortified with more Oat Groats on the side:

White Prosto Millet, Safflower Seed, Canary Seed, Oat Groats, Buckwheat, Raisins, Carrots, Papaya, Spinach, Vegetable Oil, Soy Flour, Vitamin E Supplement, Zinc Oxide, Ferrous Sulfate, Calcium Carbonate, Niacin, Vitamin A Acetate, Copper Sulfate, Ascorbic Acid, Sodium Chloride, Thiamine Mininitrate, Vitamin D3 Supplement, Riboflavin, Pyridoxine Hydrochloride, Folic Acid, Calcium Pantothenate, Vitamin B12 Supplement, Inositol Potassium Chloride, Magnesium Oxiede, Dicalcium Phosphate, Choline Chloride, Mangaous Oxide, Ethylendiamine Dihydrioxide.

Is this okay? I'm wary, but.

Right now, my cockatiels eat Harrison's Adult Lifetime Fine pellets, Kaylor of Colorado Sweet Harvest (Cockatiel or Parakeet) No Sun seeds and Goldenfeast (Australian Blend or Petite Hookbill Legume) for dry foods.

Currently, I mix Kaylor of Colorado in with Goldenfeast and feed that on one day. The next day they get pellets.

Plus the mash, which is usually made of grains, legumes, vegetables and some fruits. Occasionally I'll also ad spices, supplements or sprouts.

And the occasional cooked eggs.
