cockatiel bleeding from nostril

My cockatiel spike had a little agumant with my lorrikeet yesterday. he bit spike on the nostril area but it was for less then a second. he jumped from his cage to get spike i think he gets jealous. but spike looked like he had no bad injuries had a little bit of blood that became more but stoped after around 5mins i tried to wipe the blood off but its hard because he trys to get away when i try to clean the blood knowing how bad a lorrikeet beaks are im worried it doesn't matter if it was for a sec or less there beaks are dangerous i have a photo of spike injury there is a hair in his nostrils in that photo

Ouch, that doesn't look good. I wash my bird minor wounds with hydrogen peroxide 3% solution on a cotton ball, and then put some neosporin and/or Russian medicine "zelenka". You need to gently remove that hair and make sure his nostril is not bleeding anymore.
If you are in doubt I really recommend you taking him to a vet.

Ok i will try to remove the hair. can i put dettol on the area the only thing im worrying about is the stuff will enter his nostril and he seems sleepy

I'm sorry to hear your little guy got hurt. Not to alarm you, but since you can't tell how deep the wound is, I would be concerned about infection. I think the best thing you can do for Spike is take him to a vet as soon as you can. I hope he recovers quickly, please keep us updated.

Oh, if he is sleepy (lethargic) you should take him to a vet! My fids fight once in a while, and get minor injuries. But they never ever had any behavior changes and act as if nothing had happened. I'm the one who is freaking out.
Yes, I'd be worried too about stuff getting in his nostril. Hope he gets better soon. And if the bleeding lasted 5 min it's no good either. If the injury is minor there is usually no or very little bleeding. I'd take him to a vet to be safe.
