I have two wonderful Cockatiels, Loki and Skylar
I have recently gotten two beautiful cockatiels! They are happy and very active. They are also very young. The one is only two months old and the other is four months. The older one, Loki, has had a couple of spray bathes and only twice has he seemed to enjoy it. Other times he just flies away. The younger one, Skylar, seems completely petrified of the water. I have tried putting a shallow dish in the cage but she completely ignores it. I'm not sure what to do because I don't want to scare her when bathing her but I also know that they both need more frequent bathes than they're getting. Any suggestions? :white1:

Try the shower, try a different colored bowl, try putting frozen fruit in the bowl to tempt them in, try s different shaped water dish for them, try a different temp of water, try bathing them together, try spraying from different angles, try taking them outside and using a sprayer on the hose... Try every single different thing you can think of because yes, they should be bathed often.
