Cockatiel afraid of bath

We have a male cockatiel to that refuses to take a bath. He won't use a bowl or step in type bath, is afraid of the mister, and won't go in the sink under a small stream like our conure does. Any suggestions?

have you tried taking him in the shower?
might work. Some of my birds love the shower but think of the spray bottle as punishment.

My friends Conure will only bathe in a bowl in the sink if his mum is there but without his dad being around. His mum has to stay with him and splish in the water while he climbs down her arm? Peculiar or what.

Think it's just finding that combination of what they feel easy with.

have you tried letting him watch your conure bathe?
