Now this is starting to agro me! AMY!! She is relentless now!! Every five minutes she is trying to get to Baby Birds house! I get her on her perch stick, put her on her roof top..walk away, and five minutes later, where is she? On BB's roof! Get her back on her stick, <which now she fights by laying on her back, and kicking at the stick :12:> , get her back again on her roof...five minutes later..
Geez poor BB! I tell amy to let him be for a few minutes, won'tcha? Let him eat his brekky in peace!

So, I bring BB in here and we watch Max video's,and I look into the living room..there she is, on BB's roof again, this time eating his breakfast! It's not FUNNY anymore!

So NOW what do I do??? Leave the poor girl in her house when I want to let BB out and have some one on one with him? First thing this morning when I was feeding them, I had her swing-out food/water/nummy bowl doors open and the bowls removed, and BB was on his roof awaiting his plate of grub,I put it down and go back to the kitchen for her bowls, and she is climbing out her nummy bowl door to get to him! She sees me and turns around and goes back inside..grrrr!

Seems that Amy has developed a morning program for her and you. She is just concern that you are not getting enough activities.

Sounds like you will need to practice 'Stay' training with Amy. Best of luck, over-coming a determined Amazon is no easy undertaking.

On the other side, remember it could be much worst. Amy only wants to hangout!

Why not feed them stuff that's good for both of them and let them flock together? You got BB as a friend for Amy, sounds like she's super happy with your choice. Let em hang out I think...

O Amy has got the message alright Jim its just that Amy thinks you have not got the message...well you havent yet been trained to do things Amy's way...but Amy is working on that LoL :) I couldnt help laughing at your plight Im sorry but it looks like the fids are ruling the roost at yours LoL:) Try putting a special treat that Amy adores in the bowl on the perch you want Amy to remain on but to be honest Jim it looks like Amy wants to eat with BB so I think you've been out Amazoned :)

So long as they get along and there are no incidents let it be. My only concern is how do they act (especially Amy) when the honeymoon period is over? Being so much bigger and more powerful than BB a lot of damage would happen if things go south.

Well having Amy as a pup , 16 weeks old when I got her,and that was almost 27 yrs ago> I think I know her pretty well :) And no matter who it was,Smokey the TAG, or Jonesy the Goffins, she NEVER was mean to either,So I had a very good idea she'd like BB. I was nervous about BB being ok with Amy,after all she is so much bigger than she is,but he is handling her very well <prolly coz he was with a group of other 'teils when I got him>
If anything was going to get him nervous,I think it would have been her size, but he allows her to preen him,she has even whistled to her while she does this :04:
