..little BB...and he waits til I wake up. He is in his house right now and he is making all sorts of sounds

something new each day. Twittles,whistles,general chattering. Maybe he is happy to see his papa.

I have noticed that within minutes of me being up and about,he is very vocal,just carrying on for 30 straight minutes. As the day progresses he becomes less vocal. Maybe in the morning he is letting everyone know he is happy to be alive?lol

Of course little BB is happy to be alive after all he knows he has the Best Dad in the world and the Best Big Sis err Bro in Amy too...what little tiel would have all that joy in his little heart and not sing for half an hour letting the whole world know how happy he is first thing in the morning

Jim, is BB, Baby Bird's permanent name? It's adorable and it fits the little character perfectly, just curious.

Maybe it's the parrot voices I have for comparison, haha, but I love Sweet Pea's high pitched squeeky, girly voice. I'm sure BB's morning song is to let you know how happy he is with his life, his Amy and his Dad!

I've been told "BB" is the official name... I like the name and think it's super cute

When you say BB it kind of sounds like you are saying "baby".

Don't you just love hearing tiels singing and doing their vocals

My 4 yr old male tiel Rascal is quiet as a mouse!!! I am very happy the new baby tiel I just got is MUCH more vocal.

Yes Allee..BB will be his official name..by the time he shows me he is a guy or gal, I think it would confuse him to change it. After all,everyone here knows him as BB,or The Beebs,

..and I kind of like it too lol. I really don't know what Amy thinks yet,all she has said is "Hi bird"...

I love the name BB too and enjoy reading about him. He is letting you know he's awake, alive and wants breakfast while waiting patiently. I love tiel chatter in the morning. Mine will sleep in the late morning but I know he's awake by him tapping on his cage, whistling and talking. By the time he's had some time out and has eaten some food, usually he'll take an afternoon nap.
