Mirror mirror on the wall.....

Rascal doesn't care about mirrors at all but Coconut LOVES singing when seeing his reflection in the mirror.... so I put a mirror on his cage and now he sings so happily. He's not obsessed with the mirror or anything but since Rascal refuses to sing with him I figured I would give him his reflection to sing to He looks so self absorbed staring at himself like that (he's even making miniature heart wings). He thinks he's HOT STUFF! lol

Sorry if these vids are boring. I just find it exciting to see Coconut is learning how to vocalize. It's so much fun having a non-silent bird ... Rascal is too quiet ... not that it's a bad thing to have a quiet bird but it's fun to hear a bird chattering about

I feel sooo lucky to have found Coconut after such a long time of searching and searching. The second I saw his pic I knew he was the one

'Nut is doing a great job Juliet I am impressed with BB's vocals also. STILL trying to get him on camera.
he definitely is talking I can clearly hear "what are you doing" And he has Andy Griffith down pretty well.

What a stud muffin Coconut is....prancing back and forth on the second video. I love tiel voices. He certainly knows he's a pretty boy. Is Coconut a normal grey as well?

How adorable!! Coconut is really getting the whistling down!

Rascal is a normal grey with a tiny bit of pied in him (he has a few white spots on back of his head). Coconut is a cinnamon who also has a tiny amount of pied in him.... check out the white spots on back of Cocpnut's head.

I think the white spots are cute and apparently he knows he's hot stuff

I am eager to see AnyMyBlueFront's tiel sprout some new feathers! Coconut's flight feathers are now longer than Rascal's!

Wow..coconuts arms are REAL LONG compared to BB's. I have only found one piece of clothing on the floor of Beebs,and I have noticed Amy is starting to strip too.

Ya it's crazy how much longer his flight feathers are now. This happened all so fast hehe I suspect he might be taking illegal drugs... or steroids perhaps? Bad Coconut!!

Coconut still doesn't fly upwards if he's on the floor he can't get enough lift but he can easily fly all he way across the entire house if he takes off from top of the cage. He only has 2 flight feathers on his left wing and 3 his right wing (none of his other flight feathers seem to have grown yet) so I have no idea how on earth he is able to fly LOL :52:

I haven't noticed any feathers on the floor from Coconut yet, so he hasn't lost any feathers yet but I'm sure he'll start molting next month if not sooner.... I have no idea =)

Too bad he can't do your tune... I forget what it's called :smile004: ... some wild west "stuff" you were whistling.... I completely forget what that tune is called, my bad. I wish I could whistle better ... my whistling skills are terrible!
