Yes, Dusty thinks the camera/phone is pretty much the best toy ever and it also makes a great perch. Usually I just delete these but we're doing sort of an "outtakes" thing today

Dusty has the cutest personality! His whistling concert to the mirror is inspired. Sweet Pea listened with interest but didn't join in.

Hmmmm...Dusty certainly isn't camera shy..going to have to show BB these vids..maybe Dusty can teach him a thing or two . Amazing though,Dusty and The Beebs sound like twins.

Rascal sung along with your tiel... funny he never sings with Coconut but sings with your tiel. I guess he really doesn't like his brother!... not yet at least.

Wow Dusty is a Great singer and I love his admiration of himself in the mirror...I enjoyed the sunflower seed war but smart boy deshelled a few together letting the nut fall to the floor snd then went down and got all of them...clever boy...Im guessing that you play peek a boo with him for correct me if Im wrong but i think I hear correction I know I hear Dusty saying peek a boo during his chatter at the beginning of this video

He really is a little bit camera shy and tends to clam up most times when he sees the camera on him. I just video him a bunch and delete mass quantities of bad videos, lol.

Funny how he picked up "peeka-boo" since we didn't play it much before we heard him say it. Now that he does of course, we play more often. Mostly he just says it randomly but he will do it on cue sometimes. Today was the best yet... I hold my hands up between my face and wherever he's perched and say peeka bird! When I pull them apart. Several times he said it with me or even a half second before. Made me laugh pretty good

That's super cool that Rascal decided to join in on the singing! Hopefully Rascal and Coconut will grow to be good buddies before too long and will put on great concerts for you =)

As for the sunflower seeds... When he drops them, they're gone for good! I have the feeding mat purposely not under his dish so it gets less poopy during the day. He has birdy bread, pellets and fresh veggies on the mat, and seed mix in the dish. He seems to like both spots equally well so I se his food out that way every day. And he doesn't have sunflower seeds every day. I have one seed mix with sunflower and one without. I rotate them every several days or maybe weekly to give him a sense of variety. I think getting him used to having different foods appear in his feeding spots contributed to his willingness to try some new stuff. Seemed like for a long time he wouldn't try anything new but he's been pretty good about it lately.
