Can you give us a bit more background info? Also, by 'cocktail' I think you mean Cockatiel. The only sure advice I can you right now is to go to an avian vet. They'll know whats happening :)

Hello! If your bird eats a pellet-based diet with lots of veggies and fruits, you do not need to feed supplements (its not healthy). If your bird is eating a seed based diet, you should switch it to a healthier diet as supplements won't make up for a poor diet.

As was mentioned, if eating a pellet diet with veggies and fruits then a supplement shouldn't be needed. I still supply a cuddle bone for calcium. A good balance of quality seeds and pellets is fine.

As for medicines for the bird, more information is needed. It sounds like a medical concern, and in that case I would visit the avian vet.

Bingo! I say that to people all the time... "supplements won't make up for a poor diet" :)
