And a Normal Grey Cockatiel named BB who came home with me on 5/20/2016.
....I just gotta BRAG again about the little fluff boy,BB.

If I knew before hand..before he decided he wanted to come home with me,what he would turn out to be, I would have GLADLY paid $1000 for him..I think I got a bargain, for $150! :D

He talks so freakin' well! And its almost like on command,if that is the proper terminology .
The moment I get him to step up onto my finger when I open his front door, its a few minutes of loveys, for both of us.
I bring him out of his house, and I cup his little body in my hand and smother him with kisses,as he gently beaks my face and lips..All I have to do is say one word, and he knows what I'm going to say,and joins in with me " Lit..tel boy..Lit..tel boy..BB good little boy?" it cracks me up every time he says this :D. Then I just have to do two or three notes from Addams Family or Andy Griffith...and he KNOWS which one it is..I can whistle a verse and stop, and he picks up from where I left off,and will do a verse, and HE stops, waiting for ME to continue.. I mean,he KNOWS lol..and we do this for a couple minutes..we both do the "tock tock" part of Addams family together, and we both nod our heads in unison..again..he KNOWS! He is one smart 86g's of fluff! (down from 89g's lol)

He runs amok on my desk..across the key board, then up my arm, around my neck, down the other arm, back on the desk to run across the key board the opposite way this time, all the while chattering away, chewing on whatever he can get his lil beak on ( today it was actually something GOOD for him,a stray nutra berry lo)

And when he is REAL happy, boy oh boy, what a SONG he has! I never knew a little cockatiel could be so delightful to listen to!
As soon as I come in the door in the morning from work,he just GETS INTO IT!
I have read threads of other people complaining their 'tiel<s> are too loud..c'mon people! Sure, I guess they can be loud, but dang,it certainly not obnoxious ( at least, not to me!) I look forward to hearing him in the am...he actually helps me to fall asleep!

Ok...that's enough boring stuff...I'll just have to get a video of him performing once again.
And a HUGE "THANK YOU!" to all the folks here on this awesome forum :D, If it weren't for you guys (and gals) I don't think I'd have such an amazing little creature.. :grey: :60: :07:

Here's what I love BEST, I swear...
A great big grown up man who's obviously a solid local community member, family man, taxpayer, great big guy capable of manly feats, etc., etc., etc.----------------

Absolutely putty in the hands/beakie of that tiny little 86 grams of grey fluffy charm! And you know it!

THAT's what *I* love BEST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

BB is a true gem!

You lucked out and got a good one there for sure. I would LOVE to see videos! Please please oh pretty please! :D

I suspect when people say they think tiels are too loud it's probably when tiels scream. I know when Rascal or 'Nut screams I cannot even think straight or make a phone call it drives me nuts!! It is very jarring. Thankfully it is not constant.

Their singing is super peasant... screaming not so :(

Hey, hey there, lets slow-down on letting that information out and around. Us big Manly, Men only share this kind of 'stuff' with very close friends that we hope will treat such information with great care and consideration! After-all, we have reputations to protect and images to support you know!

Just because a feather ball elects to quickly target those very special places inside our normal iron clad Hearts and have us Melting all over the place is no reason to be running around shouting that kind of stuff, you know what I mean, right? What, Okay - Mrs' Boats requires that I add: Please! :D

Hey Juliet??

Can you attach a vid of either 'Nut or Rascal screaming?? I would just like to hear it,coz I really don't think Beebs has really screamed
Oh sure he has been "loud",but scream...I don't think so,every twittle and tweet and chirp has been pleasant in my mind...maybe I'm expecting a "scream" like the cockatoo man used to do!:11: lol.

I don't have a video but 'Nut's screams sound kind of like this and if he does not stop doing that outside neighbors are going to complain. Rascal does not do this at all.

[ame="https://youtu.be/LhN3FhRrDlk"]Screaming cockatiel - YouTube[/ame]

When Rascal "screams" he is flock calling after me... when 'Nut screams it is not flock calls. He usually only does this in the mornings when he is too hyper and by afternoon he finally comes down and then starts this up again around 6pm it drives me insane... when I get on the phone it is 'Nut's que to start SCREAMING even louder! Trust me, it is LOUD... not as loud as larger parrots of course but it is loud. I cannot make any phone calls or run my home business when he is doing this let alone concentrate. I usually spray water on 'Nut when he behaves like this and that shuts him up.... so he bathes often LOL

I fully 100% endorse and love this thread!!! We love our little guys. I was just in a cuddle session with my little guy and I could bury my nose in his feathers.....he'll rest his head on my nose and close his eyes, only to pop back up with some of his feathers sticking out of his head...
