The past couple days, Elvis has had an orange tint to the feathers around his beak, this morning he was fluffed up and shivering, so I asked dad to schedule a vet appointment. Elvis is now in quarantine until I can get him to the vet tomorrow. It is the earliest day I can get, since dad has to take the dog to a vet that same day.
Due to lack of cages, I sectioned off one cage, the budgies in one side, Jordan in the other, and Elvis will have the empty cage. The cage will NOT be placed in the same room as the other cage, and the birds shall not meet Elvis until safe to do so.
Everything will stay this way until farther notice.
Elvis couldn't have caught an illness from me could he? Maybe it's nothing, maybe it's something. I'll know for sure tomorrow.
