I've noticed this behavior over the past few months, and have absolutely NO idea why my bird does this! It only happens when my husband whistles or talks to the birds. Peach (female, age 4) will fan out her feathers all at once, almost knocking herself off her perch sometimes, and I have no idea why she does this! It's like his voice gets her all hot or something (LOL), as it's not aggressive or fearful behavior whatsoever. You can see in the video that their crests are both relaxed and they aren't scared or anything.

What the heck is she doing this for?? She doesn't do this to me, only him. He's able to handle them just fine.

I'm guessing that someone is someone else's best of friends!

Take care, looks like someone is courting your Hubby!
