Can someone please explain to my intellectually challenged companion that the piece of apple sitting on my knee that he was so appalled at and was so horribly offended that I had given it to him, is from the same frigging apple he is trying to steal before I can bite it????

Hah. My tiel used to do the same thing. I just started pretending to try to eat his bite and letting him steal it.

He was rehomed due to my allergies and is doing great. Not a hijack attempt. Just explaining why he used to do it.

My birds do the exact same thing. My dad will eat an apple/banana/grape in front of them and they want it sooo badly! The second he gives them any though they're disgusted and immediately try to grab what's in his hand.
