Hi, I am not sure if this is the right place for this. If it's not, I'm sorry.

Data seems a bit hydrophobic. He will not take a bath in the sink, dishes, and hates the spray bottle (because I would mist him directly since I did not understand how you were supposed to do it! )

Do you have any tips on getting a hydrophobic bird to bathe?

Sharlett is a bit better about it than Data is but is still a little skittish. I'm wondering if that is because she is picking up on his anxiety.

I meant to put this in behavioral but I hit the wrong thing by mistake!!!!!!!!!!

Have you tried a bowl of water with the vacuum running? Playing rain sounds while misting?

And a Normal Grey Cockatiel named BB who came home with me on 5/20/2016.
BB is the same way..now he takes a bath with ME...if he likes it or not!

I have not tried to have anything running while they do it. I am wondering if they will bathe if I was in there with them but I can't fit in the sink! lol!

Whenever we start up the vacuum, every bird in the house starts bathing...
