Question What is the cockatiel doing?

Hi!
This is a cockatiel at the pet shop that was rescued and he is a total sweetheart. I'll be adopting him by the end of the ! I'm sure he's just trying to be friendly...but I'm also not sure. What do you think he's doing?

Re: What is the cockatiel doing?

hard to say.
he/she could be trying to see you better/get closer to you.
could be trying to get out of the cage.
it does not look like it's showing any anger or hostility.

texsize.

I wish I could take him out but the owners said his wings aren't clipped and he isn't hand trained

He just sits and stares there and occasionally whistles just like that!

Re: What is the cockatiel doing?

He sees you and says "Let me out, let me out!" What a cutie. Congrats on adopting him (also saw your other thread) and then bringing him home. Looking forward to more updates. How old is he, by the way?

Re: What is the cockatiel doing?

He's 12 months!
And they literally won't let me Hold him Triggs. Its not like I can't but they would hate me and I'm trying to get a job there lol. I don't want to scare the buddy away and have him get stuck under everything or fly into the wall right next to his cage and hurt his tiny bones..
