I finally got the go ahead from my parents to get a 2nd bird. I am so thrilled. The baby I'm getting was hatched 10/13 and will be weaned around Christmas if all goes well. I cannot wait!! I've been tossing names around and I'm thinking Apollo since we are assuming it's a boy. If it ends up being a girl then she can be Artemis!

I think he would be called a "cinnamon pied pearl" but I'm not very familiar with cockatiel colorations and I haven't had the chance to ask exactly.

I'm so anxious about getting a 2nd bird but so absolutely excited too. I already have a cage in mind and a lot of perches bookmarked that I'm going to get. Also gonna get started on making toys! Do you think it would be okay to start harness training him now? Or would it be too early?

I had a dream last night that my brother got me a bird? It was cockatiel shaped but the size of a finch and had purple/pink colors. It was very cute! Lol

Okay! I just need to buy an appropriately sized harness. I have a medium aviator right now but cockatiels need the petite I think. Thankfully they sell them at my work.
