Awe, that's awful for your daughter! I understand the owner wanting Fuzzy back, but still, that must be so hard for her. I'm glad that you're going to get your daughter another Cockatiel, she deserves it for as much time and work she put into taking care of Fuzzy...Be sure to post photos of your new Cockatiel when you do bring him home!

Ouch! How heartbreaking for your daughter! I hope she gets one of her own, sounds like she'd make a lovely Parront.

Re: Need help with new teil

How are things going since Fuzzy left? How is your daughter doing? I thought about this yesterday again, I understand that plans change and if I'm being honest, if I was in the owner's situation and I thought I was moving out of the country and found a good, loving home for my birds, and then after moving them into their new owner's home I suddenly found out that I wasn't moving out of the country, the very first thing I would do would be to frantically call them and tell them that I wanted my birds back immediately, because it would break my heart to have to re-home them in the first place...So I totally understand what Fuzzy's owner did in taking-back Fuzzy after finding out that they were no longer moving...But it still stinks for you and especially your daughter...Honestly, now that I think about it, if I were Fuzzy's owner and I found out that your daughter had been taking such good care of him and had bonded so closely with him, I would still want Fuzzy back, but I think I would probably show-up with a baby Cockatiel for your daughter when I arrived to pick him back up...I kind of wish you lived in the US because I want to buy your daughter a baby Cockatiel, lol...

If you have any questions about choosing a new Cockatiel for your daughter, what age is best, etc., or any other questions in-general, please just ask and we'll help you with whatever we can...And keep us posted when you do finally bring home a new Tiel!
