So recently Apollo has been making a sound that's very similar to the "feed me" noise that cockatiel babies make, she sort of bobs her head while she does it too. Is she actually hungry or is this a sign of hormones? She doesn't do it frequently, only when I'm holding her really.

Edit: forgot to add she always has access to pellet and seed and is eating it.

Hard to say really. The head bobbing makes it sound more like a request to feed her but that could also be hormone driven. Does she lower herself so her body is closer to horizontal? If that's the case it's definitely hormonal.
