Mine and Ceasers Journey

Ok so I'm gonna do a daily log of how me and ceaser are progressing if you guys want throw some advice on the next steps or what I should try next so here it goes.

Today I decided even thou I don't have him trained or anything I was gonna open his cage which I've done a few times before nd he always stay at the back of the cage well today he sat up on the doorway nd just looked out I think he's getting more comfortable to his surrondings

The first goal is to develop their Trust in you and their new surrounding. Sitting next to the cage and read out loud in a soft comfortable voice. This allows them to become comfortable around you.

Once your Parrot becomes more comfortable, slowly work at introducing you hand/fingers as it is the starting point for "Step-Up." The goal is to not disrupt the trust you are developing...
