A lovebird called snowblau hand-tamed by myself
Hello,

I just got her today. She is extremely friendly. Her name is mimi. She is looking a bit bored though. I am posting a picture.

Can you please tell whether her beak and cere look fine or not? If yes then I can place her with my other birds. Right now she is in separate cage.

You should keep Mimi in quarantine for at least 30 days just to be sure before introducing her to the rest of your birds. She looks fine to me but that doesn't mean anything. Birds will hide any illness until the end.

Talven is correct on this! Yes PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE quarantine you're new beautiful baby for at least thirty days! You have no idea if he/she has/had any type of disease that could be transfered to your flock! And it is very wise to get the youngster checked out as soon as possible by a Certified Avian Vet and not just a regular or exotics vet that will see any creature. You wouldn't want your flock to get something,I know I wouldn't want mine to.

As far as the beak/cere thing, they look fine to me. Mimi looks adorable btw :04:
