Earlier today, Kookie tried to... mate with my hand. I was giving him head scratches and then he began kinda, licking my hand. I didn't mind that so I let him do that. And then he climbed on my hand tried to mate. I'm not sure what triggered him to do this. I don't pet him at all under his neck. I don't allow him to get into dark shadow-ie places. I don't give him any warm mushy food and he gets 11 hours of sleep at the least.
He's 1.5 years old now (hatched at around 21rst of December) so he's pretty much a teenaged bird I guess. Kookie recently did meet a female 'tiel for the first time though I'm not quite sure if Kookie is interested in her at all. He does eat baby bird formula, but that's only when we're feeding a baby bird. He doesn't get much of the food and he usually gets it cold. We also haven't fed a baby bird in some time.
I'm really not sure about what could have triggered him to do this.

BB is now four years old and from day one thats ALL he wants to do with me!!
