Ok, I know this title is going to be really bizarre but I lost kiwi in the house I saw her just around 10 minutes ago and was happily chirping on her cage and then when I went to the kitchen to make chop for them, and then she was gone. I called her name and no reply my other cockatiel flock called and no reply, and she is currently laying eggs is it possible that she has found a dark corner and is laying eggs?? I am 95% sure she can't be outside.

set seed out and wait is the best you can do likely and be careful where you walk/set/move things just encase there is a good possibility shes found a nice dark corner

If she's laying eggs she could be very quiet for a long long time indeed. Make sure everyone is extremely careful not to sit on a couch without checking under the cushions first - that's where I usually find my Lilly when she's in an egg-laying mood!

Check the trash can.
Check laundry
Check under fridge and behind stove
If someone did go outside, then get a person checking outside
Do you have dogs or cats or ferrets??
Good luck , I hate to hear of missing parrots

Thank goodness for that! That sneaky little minx!! How is she dealing with the egg, is she fussing over it or ignoring it completely?

Thanks for the update, I'm so pleased you found her!

She was interested in it for about 1-2 days but has left it on the cage floor ever since so i waited about 3 days and took it and threw it out...

Excellent! Great that she didn't get fixated on it and then go lay another, and another, and another... Happy news all round!

Thank you for the update. I was worried the lack of post had meant bad news. I am SO glad to hear she is okay!! :)
