I prepared some chop for Vixen today. Made it with some sprouted mong beans, grated carrots and dandelion greens sprinkled with a little bit of seed from the bird mix we were giving her before, some sesame seed and oats. She was a little sceptical about it first (and understandably so, she's probably never seen something like that before) but after she tried some, she seems to love it! And unlike Kookie, who picks out what he likes, she seems to eat everything. I'm surprised at how much she eats.

And a few pics of her:

I'm pretty sure she doesn't know how to clean her beak:

Amy a Blue Front 'Zon
Jonesy a Goffins 'Too who had to be rehomed :-(

And a Normal Grey Cockatiel named BB who came home with me on 5/20/2016.
Cockatiels are so cute when they munch on something they like. I feed my kid's stuff from Bird Street Bistro (among other things) and BB will eat any "flavor" I give him. When he munches the Cajun Spice he makes MMMMM chirp sounds but then shakes his head coz it is spicy lol
