how to give a new cockatoo a bath

i am very new to cockatoo
my umbrella cockatoo is tame,friendly,hand feed and bought from respectable dealer but i dont know how to do it .
he only been with us for 3 days so i will wait for another week before giving him a bath so any tips and pointers will be appreciated.

You have two ways of doing it if he doesn't do it himself, which to take him in the shower with you, or spray or mist with a water bottle.
